OKG-30 LONG WRIST THERMOPLASTIC SPLINT
Description
The OKG-30 long wrist thermoplastic splint is an individual orthopedic device for quick and professional immobilization. Brief heating in hot water or a microwave oven softens the material, allowing it to be perfectly adapted to the joint according to therapeutic recommendations. After a short while, the brace hardens, providing secure stabilization.
The long wrist splint provides more comfortable immobilization of the limb than a standard cast.
The product consists of two base components: a thermoplastic plate and a wrist sleeve.
The thermoplastic plate is perforated, which allows user’s skin to breath and makes the brace extremely light and comfortable.
The wrist sleeve is made from the lightweight, flexible ProFit II™ material.
The sleeve fastens with a zip, so its application is extremely quick and intuitive.
In addition to professional immobilization, the OKG-30 wrist splint also provides therapeutic compression to help reducing injury swelling.
The thermoplastic plate of the hand brace can be repeatedly heated and re-modelled, so the product is ideal not only in the post-operative period, but also in the recovery period when swelling is decreasing.
100% mapping of the shape of the hand, wrist and forearm ensures perfect stabilization and comfortable, fast custom-made product according to the user’s needs.

MEMORYcast™
MEMORYcast™ is a special thermoplastic panel for heat molding. The panel has the same properties as rigid nylon and softens when temperature is approx. 60° C. It’s very easy to do that, there is enough to place the brace in hot water or microvawe. Our thermoplastic panel is safe and biodegradable. Contrary to ordinary plaster cast, high plasticity of MEMORYcast™ allows to heat and mold it many times according to doctor’s recommendations.
