A sports injury is an injury that occurs suddenly during physical activity. One of the most common hand injuries is a wrist sprain.

The wrist joint is made up of 8 small bones connected by strong ligaments to the ulnar and radial bones. These bones are located in 2 rows. If the soft tissues, i.e. the ligaments and the joint capsule, are overstretched, we speak of a wrist sprain. A sprain can occur anywhere, whether during sports or everyday activities. Most often, the injury involves a fall on an upright hand.

This force stretches and sometimes even tears or completely ruptures ligaments, tendons and the joint capsule. The first symptom of a sprain is pain, swelling of the joint and reduced mobility. The AM-OSN-U-18 wrist brace stabilizes the wrist joint and is ideal for persistent pain and slight instability of the wrist. The wrist brace restricts movement, but does not limited the joint motion, allowing you to continue practicing sport. The elastic strap provides comfortable, individually adjustable compression.

The sports wrist brace is equipped with elastic bands, which provide stabilization of the joint while maintaining full mobility of the hand.

The wrap around design makes it easy to put on, and the elastic circumferential strap allows the compression of the product to be perfectly adjusted to the user’s needs.

The AM-OSN-U-18 wrist brace provides not only palmar stabilization, but also dorsal stabilization, reducing the risk of twisting the joint as a result of a fall.

ProFit™ is a double-layer fabric that is elastic in all directions and fits to limb precisely. The external side is made of spandex providing excellent compression and absorbs muscle shocks in physical activity. The internal side consists of microfibre, cotton and elastane what makes it skin-friendly, breathable and provides velvet softness. ProFit™ is friendly and neutral for the skin and has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. In some products this material can have an internal elastic cotton layer.
