Lumbosacral brace STEFDA helps to relieve the lumbar pain and prevents against muscles cramps. It is made of unique spatial material called Active3D™.

In its rear part, there are flexible pockets in which you can install an offloading lumbar pads made of special foam. The product can be used with or without pads, it depends only on the user’s preferences.

In addition, there is rear compression system TapeLacing, which allows to set adequate compression. This system is mounted with Velcro straps what adjust the device to the patient’s body precisely.

The wide non-elastic circumferential strap is stabilizing element which adjusts pressure in L-S part of the brace.

AS-LK-02 stabilizes lumbar spine by supporting the abdominal muscles. By maintaining the constant temperature and elastic pressure it relieves the pain caused by stress, injuries or degeneration. Brace is especially recommended for athletes, because of breathable material.

ActiveSpace™

ActiveSpace™ is a spacer, polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation. It is very lightweight, consisted of 2 layers. Between them, we use polyamide braids. ActiveSpace™ is not elastic what improves stabilization. Inside the lamination, between 2 layers, the air flows freely, maintaining minimal water and moisture absorption. Waterproof material.

TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS

TLS - TapeLacing Compression System

TapeLacing Compression System was created to adjust the best joint support and stabilization. The system allows to adjust different levels of compression according to patient’s needs. This adjustment is smooth what provides comfort of use the brace.

The TLS System is a combination of metal grommets, nylon tapes and Velcros. The additional equipment is the special element that is easy to attach what allows to modify device’s shape or circumference. You can achieve required compression with a single pull strap. One easy pull securely forms the brace to the patient’s torso and provides intra-abdominal compression, reducing the load on intervertebral discs.

TLS System is the compression solution so you can use it only after putting the brace on the body.

ATTENTION: Our TapeLacing Compression System is very effective with big interaction strength so it’s necessary to use it with caution.

Abdominal pad

The abdominal pad of the orthopedic spine brace is made of ABS. It has an anatomical shape with rounded edges and special longitudinal cuts, thanks to which it is very easy to shape in the horizontal axis and maintains high stiffness in the vertical axis. Such a structure allows the orthosis to easily adjust to the abdominal section of the patient and, thanks to the vertical cuts, the patient's skin breathes as air is supplied to it.

Orthopedic stays from ABS

Orthopedic stays available in various width, thickness and shapes are cut from ABS boards. Their role is not to stiffen the orthosis in order to support a joint or other part of the body, but to prevent wrinkling and uncontrolled movement of the fabrics of the orthosis./p>

PADDINGS

3D supports

3D relief supports are independent technical solutions to relieve the rigid elements of a given orthosis. These elements are made of supporting foams or EVA foam. These foams are connected with various types of skin-friendly materials and materials with an adhesive function. These pads have the appropriate shape and color adapted to the type of orthosis. They relieve both metal elements of orthoses, such as splints, stays, underwires and orthopedic drop locks, as well as other elements that should not come into direct contact with the patient's skin. These pads have an anatomical shape and are made of comfortable foam with proper hardness and elasticity, guaranteeing the proper therapeutic effect.
