One of them is CertiPur Certificate, which means that the foam is strictly controlled in terms of the amount of chemicals, the method of production and the safety of usage such a foam. CertiPur Certificate specifies precisely which substances cannot exceed certain norm and which of them cannot appear at all. The foams we use to the production of our medical accessories such as orthopaedic pillows, wedges, Braun splint and mattresses are certified by CertiPur that is the best proof for their highest level of safety.
What can you gain by buying our products marked with CertiPur logo?
1. Certitude that all of them are free of dangerous heavy metals – such as mercury, lead or cadmium. The foams are tested in laboratory at the molecular level to detect even the trace amounts of heavy metals. This certificate is the confirmation for you, that they are not included in the foam.
2. Information confirmed by researches that they are free of carcinogenic, allergic and causing hereditary diseases substances (according to European law).
3. Knowledge that they are free of flatanes that are mainly used as plasticizers. They are very dangerous and can have negative influence on fetal development. Their usage in products for children is strictly forbidden by European law. However, there are no legal regulations regarding their usage in the case of products dedicated to adults. For safety reasons, we go one step further and we do not use the foam with these substances at all – both in products for children as well as adults.
