Abdominal belt OT-12

Abdominal wall hernias is common in physical workers. But, overweight people, pregnant women (fast increasing of body weight or Caesarean section) or musicians who are playing wood-wind instruments are also susceptible to have the hernia. Abdominal wall forms is a set of layers of muscles, ligaments and fascia and should be compact and firm. When some of the layer becomes weaker (overstretching) and the internal pressure is increased, organ or tissue is pushed through the opening or weak spot.

The skin is soft, flexible and resistant to stretching. It works exactly as our innovative abdominal belt OT-12.

The thickness of the belt is similar to skin. This solution provides natural, physiological cooperation between belt and body. Softness and flexibility of the fabric maintains gentle but effective compression. Our abdominal belt OT-12 has wrap-around design for easy application. Non-elastic Velcro element keeps the hernia in the abdominal wall and prevents against its stretching.

Abdominal belt OT-12, similar to human’s skin, maintains the optimal body’s temperature and reduces aching muscles and rheumatic pain. What’s more, the brace provides gentle and constant compression of abdominal cavity. ProFit™

ProFit™ is a double-layer fabric that is elastic in all directions and fits to limb precisely. The external side is made of spandex providing excellent compression and absorbs muscle shocks in physical activity. The internal side consists of microfibre, cotton and elastane what makes it skin-friendly, breathable and provides velvet softness. ProFit™ is friendly and neutral for the skin and has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. In some products this material can have an internal elastic cotton layer.

STIFFENINGS

Stiffeners of thin ABS

Stiffeners made of a thin ABS plate are very light and protect the correct shape of the brace, but do not stiffen individual parts of the patient's body. The brace has the correct circumferential shape, but does not have the compensating and stiffening function of the protected joints and other protected parts of the body.
