Ankle brace AS-SS is an innovative medical device designed for maximum comfort and ankle injury prevention.

Equipped with professional thermoplastic panel fits to the body perfectly. Easy to shape panel covers the ankle, including Achilles tendon, and offers stabilization and off-loading.

Innovative thermoplastic stays support the joint for a long healing process. When during the recovery, for example swelling is reduces, you can only heat the panel once again and model as required for perfect fitting and stabilization.

As the plate cools, it becomes as hard as a cast and thus provides excellent stabilisation of the ankle joint in case of injury.

Thermoplastic Ankle Brace AS-SS is modern designed, fits to the body curves perfectly and offers excellent support. Circumferential compression strap promotes fast and easy application. The laces are ended with Velcro closures for smooth adjustment and perfect fitting.

What is more, ankle brace AS-SS includes X-straps and a heel lock which prevent against involuntary ankle inversion and twisted injury.

X and heel straps provide protection for ankle’s most commonly injured ankle ligaments including anterior talofibular, calcaneofibular and posterior talofibular ligaments – all located on the outside aspect of the ankle.

Inner part of the product is made high tech sport material CODURA®, which absorbs the moisture and keeps the skin dry.

Outer part of the brace is made of breathable, 3D knitted AeroSpace™.

AeroSpace™ is an innovative new generation raw material. It is a distance elastic 3D knitted fabric consisting of two layers of facings and an interlacing that creates the appropriate thickness of the raw material and has relieving properties. The knitwear is made of the highest quality polyester yarn - guaranteeing high mechanical strength and spandex ensuring its proper flexibility. This material is characterized by a very low weight, high flexibility and a very large openwork structure, allowing for very easy drainage of sweat from the body and bringing fresh air to the skin. Products made of this raw material are neutral to the secured joint, do not heat or cool it, but ensure its proper compression and fit and reduce muscle vibrations generated during physical exertion. Its thickness and 3D structure perfectly relieves the orthopedic splints, stays or other elements mounted on the product and guarantees velvety softness to the touch.

CODURA®

CODURA® is extreme durable lamination made of polyamide with polyurethane layer and Teflon finishing. Structure of fabrics and method of milling make the fabric lightweight but very resistant to damages and extreme conditions. External layer is covered by Teflon. Our devices made of CODURA® are the thinnest and the most durable on the market. Waterproof material.
