AM-SB-01 brace is excellent support for hip joint after hip replacement.
Endoprosthesis is often result of degenerative disease that based on destruction of joint cartilage, joint capsule and other soft tissues. There are bone spurs, called osteophytes, one the femur head and acetabulum surface. Osteophytes usually limit joint movement and typically cause pain.
Hip joint is ball joint where head femur is inside the acetabulum. Reason of the joint degeneration can be improper building (hip dysplasia), growth disturbances or injuries. It can be also caused by metabolic disorders such as osteoporosis or overweight.
Our AM-SB-01 hip brace with side splint is a crucial element while rehabilitation process after joint replacement.
The side splint supports joint against the undesirable motions such as: excessive hip adduction, flexion or rotation, which can cause loosen and shift of the endoprosthesis. It is equipped with range of motion adjustment what is helpful after hip surgeries.
Our hip brace is used after surgery which limits the risk of the endoprosthesis damage.

The hip brace is made of innovative fabric UniPren.
UniPren™ is a universal 3-layer material consisting of an external elastic polyamide cover knit with a self-adhesive function, an internal neoprene foam core and an elastic jersey cover knit. This material is characterized by softness and very high flexibility. A very important advantage of this material is the fact that it is not a knitted product, it does not have thick fibers, so that the weaves of the material do not imprint on the patient's skin and do not cause abrasionsin places of high compression. Products made of UniPren™ are the strongest and most effective stabilizing orthoses available on the market. Self-adhesive function, the raw material makes it much easier to use.
Hip brace AM-SB-06 has wrap around design for perfect fitting. The brace is equipped with side splint with ROM adjustment in every 15 degrees.
The splint is made of high quality of sanded aluminum, durable cover what makes splints neutral to the influence of sweat and salt. The splint is covered in special lateral pocket what allows to bring it out and wash the brace.
In addition, the brace holds orthopedic stays, which support the hip joint and adjustable fasteners: frontal and thigh, what provides good fitting to the patient’s body.

STIFFENINGS
Plastic stays
They come in various widths and thicknesses, are made of various types of plastics, such as polyamide, ABS or acrylic, and these features determine their stiffness. Thanks to their design, they are resistant to water, moisture and sweat. Products equipped with them can be washed without having to remove them from the orthosis. Our plastic stays work only in one direction, perfectly stabilize the laterally protected part of the body, adjusting to it at the same time and have a memory function, thanks to which they always return to their original shape. This function causes the stays in the orthosis to stabilize the swollen limb immediately after the injury and after the swelling has come off. The plastic stays cannot bend and that is why, they cannot correct the body posture or the secured joint.
Splint 1R Orthodesign
Szyna ortopedyczna 1R orthodesign, to nowatorskie podejście do tematyki szyn ortopedycznych z regulacją kąta zgięcia i wyprostu. Innowacyjność szyny polega na tym, że w zegarze o średnicy nie przekraczającej 30 mm, zastosowaliśmy regulację kąta zgięcia i wyprostu co 15 stopni. Dodatkowym atutem szyny jest to, że regulacja odbywa się nie przy użyciu wkrętów imbusowych, jak to się odbywało w poprzedniej generacji szyny, lecz za pomocą wkładanych stalowych nitów, które dla ułatwienia wyjmowane są z gniazd kątowych przy użyciu załączonego do szyn magnesu. Wisienką na torcie jest pierścień blokujący, który dzięki systemowi zapadkowemu nie pozwoli na samoczynne przestawienie się wcześniej ustawionego kąta. W ortezach kolana szyny mają odsadzenie goleniowe, co pozwala na bardziej precyzyjne dopasowanie ortezy kolana, a co za tym idzie dokładniej realizują regulację ruchomości stawu, w pozostałych wyrobach zaś, ortezy mają formę prostą. Od spodniej strony zegara zamontowano owalny element do którego doklejono gripper niezbędny do przymocowania do zegara miękkich poduszek bocznych 3D. Szyny te, przy użyciu klucza ortopedycznego będącego w ofercie Reh4Mat, mogą być w niektórych przypadkach indywidualnie dopasowane do kształtu kończyny pacjenta, poprzez ich lekkie dogięcie.
