Ankle support AM-OSS-07

The ankle brace AM-OSS-07 is made of AeroSpace™ and ActiveSpace™.

The active ankle brace AM-OSS-07 is the mix of stabilization and mobility. The brace counters the Achilles irritations by its stabilization, compression and micro-massage. Alternate compression and decompression, during movement promotes healing and improves the interaction of nerves and muscles. It is achieved by using the integral visco-elastic pad, which stimulates the tissue above the heel with soft silicon nubs and longitudinal grooves. On the right and left side, two additional wings with nubs stimulate the muscle-tendon transition during the movement. The using of this innovative solutions facilitates and increases the patient mobility.

• After Achilles injuries treated nonoperative or surgically (Achilles strain, rupture, tendonitis)
• After ankle injury rehabilitation (strains, fractures) treated surgically

MATERIALS

ActiveSpace™

ActiveSpace™ is a spacer, polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation. It is very lightweight, consisted of 2 layers. Between them, we use polyamide braids. ActiveSpace™ is not elastic what improves stabilization. Inside the lamination, between 2 layers, the air flows freely, maintaining minimal water and moisture absorption. Waterproof material.

AeroSpace™

AeroSpace™ is an innovative new generation raw material. It is a distance elastic 3D knitted fabric consisting of two layers of facings and an interlacing that creates the appropriate thickness of the raw material and has relieving properties. The knitwear is made of the highest quality polyester yarn - guaranteeing high mechanical strength and spandex ensuring its proper flexibility. This material is characterized by a very low weight, high flexibility and a very large openwork structure, allowing for very easy drainage of sweat from the body and bringing fresh air to the skin. Products made of this raw material are neutral to the secured joint, do not heat or cool it, but ensure its proper compression and fit and reduce muscle vibrations generated during physical exertion. Its thickness and 3D structure perfectly relieves the orthopedic splints, stays or other elements mounted on the product and guarantees velvety softness to the touch.

STIFFENINGS

Stiffeners of thin ABS

Stiffeners made of a thin ABS plate are very light and protect the correct shape of the brace, but do not stiffen individual parts of the patient's body. The brace has the correct circumferential shape, but does not have the compensating and stiffening function of the protected joints and other protected parts of the body.

PADDINGS

Achilles tendon anatomical silicone supports

Anatomical silicone supports with massage function to relieve and protect the Achilles tendon. These pads have an anatomical shape and are made of silicone with the appropriate hardness and elasticity, guaranteeing the proper therapeutic effect.
