CASTUS is an individual medical device that stops the progression of spinal deformity due to scoliotic changes. The CASTUS spinal corset stabilizes the spinal vertebrae in three planes, effectively reducing scoliosis.

The corset is made of a rigid elastic hip cage, a rigid spinal stabilizer, thoracic and axillary supports and elevation supports, allowing for a smooth correction of scoliosis and spinal hyperkyphotic. All product components are ultra-lightweight and user skin-friendly.

The CASTUS custom made corrective back brace provides spinal correction in three planes: frontal, sagittal and transverse, so it can be successfully used to treat scoliosis, including those of idiopathic origin.

The brace eliminates lateral movement of the spine, prevents it from bending backwards and forwards and, thanks to its innovative design, effectively limits rotational movements.

The aluminium frame allows the product to be precisely adjusted to the user’s therapeutic needs. It provides individual height adjustment of the elevation supports on both sides, and the device can function without one or both elevation supports as required.

The CASTUS spinal back brace is the perfect complement to physiotherapy treatments, after which the corset passively maintains the desired position, thus stretching shortened muscles and improving the user’s posture.

The aluminium elements of the CASTUS custom made scoliotics corset are covered with elastic material in the form of a zipped shirt, which makes them almost invisible to third parties. Such a solution, in addition to its health benefits, carries a number of psychological advantages, especially for young people exposed to the judgement of their peers and surroundings.

Importantly, the T-shirt provides all-day therapeutic compression, with each breath encountering gentle resistance from the material, which improves the strength and function of the deep breathing muscles, crucial in scoliosis therapy.

The CASTUS custom made adjustable back brace for scoliosis and hunched shoulders treatment is made of soft and breathable materials for all-day comfort. An anti-migration tape is placed at the bottom of the product to prevent it from slipping uncontrollably.

Made to order, the CASTUS orthopaedic back brace is custom made to each user based on their measurements and type of condition. The product can be freely adjusted to the user’s anatomy to ensure professional stabilization and correction.
