Full support and stabilization spinal corset STUFE is developed for a post-surgical or post-traumatic medical treatment. The Full stabilization Corset Stufe is also recommended for chronic illness of the spine.

Brace provides full-circumference spinal support, starting from thoracic vertebras TH2/TH3 to sacral vertebra (S1).

The Thoracic-Lumbo-Sacral Orthosis offers 3-points stabilization system, consists of three compresive forces: from sternum to the back of the spine (F1), from suprapubic to the back lumbar zone of spine (F2) and dorso-lumbar opposite force (F3). The forces interaccion keeps the spine in Hyperextension position, avoids lateral turns, rotary movements and features of lumbar lordosis.

The STUFE orthosis is made of light comfort foam, lined by cotton terry cloth, and covered by auto-adhesive fabric, which properties allow to adjust and fit the corset on different anatomies of the body.

The Back Panel of Corset is equipped with 8 anatomically shaped and malleable orthopaedic stays with different length, which adjust perfectly to the body shape.

The Front panel contains anatomically shaped pubic splint made of plastic solid material

The Stufe corset is provided with System of Pectoral and Dorsal Support, which can be used in the beginning of the treatment, in order to provide full stabilization of the spine, fulfills the indications of TLSO. There is possibility to totally remove of Pectoral System, than the patient can use STUFE as LSO support.

The Front pannel is also equipped with lateral closure system including reinforced velcro straps, which make the orthosis easy to be assembled or disassembled by the patient with limited dexterity.

The lateral Lacing-up system allows easy adjustment of the orthosis in order to obtain the proper compression of circumference.

The Closure system is Quick-release, made of non-elastic straps, which ends of closure are equipped with plastic covers, specially developed for patients with limited hand dexterity.

ActiveDistance II™

ActiveDistance II™ is an active 3-layered fabric made of non-elastic polyamide self-gripping layer, comfort foam and cotton terry. The last one layer is responsible for maintaining your skin dry. This material is skin-friendly and has the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. Self-gripping function of ActiveDistance II™ allows to fit the braces precisely.

ActiveDistance™

ActiveDistance™ is an technical off-loading lamination with 3-layered construction. It’s made of EVA foam double-sided laminated with non-elastic polyamide layer that is easy to attach. This self-gripping function of ActiveDistance™ provides wide range of adjustment and perfect fitting. What is important, ActiveDistance™ is non-elastic fabric so it stabilizes your body in a perfect way. Thanks to using the comfort foam, the device is really soft what influences on the comfort of using it. Waterproof material.

Orthopedic profiled stays

Orthopedic stays are made of special spring steel, covered with a plastic coating and have rounded and protected ends. They can come in various widths and thicknesses as well as different hardness. They can be pre-shaped or flat. They work in one direction and adapt to the shape of the body while stabilizing the laterally protected part of the body. They are perfectly protected against corrosion, so they are resistant to water, moisture and sweat. Products equipped with them can be washed without removing them from the orthosis. They adjust to the body. The orthopedic stays cannot bend and that is why, they cannot correct the body posture or the secured joint.

Profiled aluminum stays, spine stabilizers

These are splints and orthopedic stays of various thickness and width, which are made of various types of aluminum alloys. All these splints and stays, before mounting to a given orthosis, have been pre-profiled, which allows for fitting the product to the body of a specific patient. However, for the correct operation of the device, they should be precisely bent to the patient's body by an orthopedist, physiotherapist or orthopedist technician. Only this action guarantees the proper protection and support of the patient's body.

Stiffeners of thin ABS

Stiffeners made of a thin ABS plate are very light and protect the correct shape of the brace, but do not stiffen individual parts of the patient's body. The brace has the correct circumferential shape, but does not have the compensating and stiffening function of the protected joints and other protected parts of the body.
