Back brace AM-PES-06 is made of skin friendly and breathable material ProFit and equipped with anatomic shaped spiral bonings. It ‘s designed for keeping vertebral extension in osteoporosis and strengthening of the core musculature.

It should be used in case of physical activity in people who may suffer from osteoporosis. In case of bone’s density lost, the vertebrae change their shape for wedge and burst. It results in many painful fractures.

When you wear our AM-PES-06 back brace which is equipped with anatomic-shaped spiral bonings, your spine is off loaded. The overloading forces are cumulated in these stays what supports the backbone and its structures and prevents against the fractures.

The back orthosis with shoulder straps keep the spinal extension prevent against the wedge (compression) fractures and improves breathing and blood circulation.

The brace is made of skin friendly and breathable material ProFit™, tightening straps and harness are made of ActiveRubber II™, harness covers are made of CottonComfort™.

MATERIALS

ActiveRubber II™

ActiveRubber II™ is strong and bidirectional elasticity. It can be stretched, increasing the length and width, what improves compression. Between the braids air flows freely and skin can breathe. In addition in high compression, these rubber braids provide a gentle massage for skin. Our orthopedic rubber is very friendly for skin.

CottonComfort™

CottonComfort™ is one of the most comfortable, antiallergic and ecological orthopedic fabric that we use in the production of our products. This raw material consists of a very comfortable polyurethane foam, laminated on one or both sides with a soft and comfortable cotton knit. The knit is made of natural cotton, without any chemicals containing formaldehyde. It is certified by Oeko-Tex® Standard 100, which guarantees safety to the patient's skin. The lamination process takes place without the use of any kinds of glue, but with the use of the flame method, which changes the surface of the polyurethane foam into a sticky surface to which the outer facings of the raw material stick. Thanks to the use of such a production technology, we do not unnecessarily introduce chemical chemicals into the structure of the raw material and we ensure a very high strength of such a connection. CottonComfort™ is used in orthoses in the most delicate places, so as not to cause skin irritation and so that the soft structure of the material tightly fills the free spaces between the orthosis and the patient's body.

ProFit™

ProFit™ is a double-layer fabric that is elastic in all directions and fits to limb precisely. The external side is made of spandex providing excellent compression and absorbs muscle shocks in physical activity. The internal side consists of microfibre, cotton and elastane what makes it skin-friendly, breathable and provides velvet softness. ProFit™ is friendly and neutral for the skin and has Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate. In some products this material can have an internal elastic cotton layer.

STIFFENINGS

Plastic stays

They come in various widths and thicknesses, are made of various types of plastics, such as polyamide, ABS or acrylic, and these features determine their stiffness. Thanks to their design, they are resistant to water, moisture and sweat. Products equipped with them can be washed without having to remove them from the orthosis. Our plastic stays work only in one direction, perfectly stabilize the laterally protected part of the body, adjusting to it at the same time and have a memory function, thanks to which they always return to their original shape. This function causes the stays in the orthosis to stabilize the swollen limb immediately after the injury and after the swelling has come off. The plastic stays cannot bend and that is why, they cannot correct the body posture or the secured joint.

Profiled aluminum stays, spine stabilizers

These are splints and orthopedic stays of various thickness and width, which are made of various types of aluminum alloys. All these splints and stays, before mounting to a given orthosis, have been pre-profiled, which allows for fitting the product to the body of a specific patient. However, for the correct operation of the device, they should be precisely bent to the patient's body by an orthopedist, physiotherapist or orthopedist technician. Only this action guarantees the proper protection and support of the patient's body.
