Gel wraps

Gel compresses are a special gel closed in tight and durable foil bags of various shapes. With such a compress, you can always cool or warm up selected parts of the body when needed. Compresses are extremely practical, they work well in special orthopedic orthoses, because then you can perform heat or cold therapy while moving, which makes it more effective. The fact that one compress can be used both hot and cold is an undoubted advantage of this modern solution. The gel that the bags are filled with retains its original temperature for a long time, which is why it is much more effective than ice or a hot water bottle filled with hot water. The composition of the gel filling the compresses is safe for health, i.e. non-toxic. Usually, propylene glycol and distilled water are used. It is true that the skin does not come into contact with the inside of the compress, but in case the bag breaks, it is better to have a product that is as indifferent to health as possible.
